Waldskin's first single makes us discover the dark and ambivalent creations of the band through their heteroclite instrumentation (drums, cello, bass, guitars, synthesizers, noises and vocals).
The song doesn't only deal with the possible climatic tragedies but touch on class struggle and the continuous repression of freedom of expression, depicting the greats of this world as cynical, greedy and power-hungry monsters. In light of recent events, this first single is highly topical.
Yet the result is far from the cliché, so much so that the music stands out for its latent violence and its contrasts between softness and fury. A brutal poetry that does not leave one indifferent and invites one to be indignant.
